Pop Rocket Studios Photographic Policies
For your peace of mind and added assurance during your session, the following document is intended to outline the business policies and procedures used by Pop Rocket Studios.
Session Deposits
Session deposits are required to secure the date and time of your photo shoot. Payment must be made within one week of booking date. Should payment not be received within this time, Pop Rocket Studios reserves the right to offer the date and time to another client. Deposit payments can be made in person by cash or cheque, or by a credit card/debit card payment via PayPal.
All session deposits are non-refundable. The deposit amount paid will be deducted from the session fees due at the time of your photo shoot.
Cancellations
I do understand that there are some events that occur that are beyond our control. If you need to postpone your scheduled portrait session, please notify me as soon as possible, and I will do my best to help you reschedule. Your session deposit will transfer to the new date.
Respectfully, I also reserve the right to re-schedule a session due to illness, emergency, inclement weather, and other unforeseen events beyond my own control. I will be sure to inform you of any such occurrences as soon as possible, and will be sure to re-schedule your session in the earliest possible time slot.
Please note that if a session cancellation occurs without your notice, you forfeit your session deposit, and a rescheduled photo shoot will require an additional session deposit.
Online Gallery
Your private online gallery will be available for viewing within 2 weeks of your session. The gallery will stay live for 90 days, please make your print and digital file choices at this time. After 90 days your gallery will expire. If you would like to re-publish your gallery, there is a $25 fee.
Payment Options
Pop Rocket Studios accepts cash and cheques, as well as credit card/debit card payments via PayPal.
Refunds
I want you to be completely happy with your pictures and will work to ensure that you are completely satisfied. However, due to the custom nature of the products, all sales are final.
Re-shoots may only be scheduled at the sole discretion of Pop Rocket Studios. A re-shoot will only be provided free of charge for a technical problem such as an equipment malfunction. Please keep in mind I do not issue re-shoots due to dissatisfaction with clothing, facial expressions, hair style, or other items beyond our control. I do my very best to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your photos including providing you with several opportunities to preview your photos as they are shot. I am very open to your thoughts and ideas, and will be more than happy to accommodate and resolve any concerns or idea changes you may have throughout the course of your session. You are an active participant on your photo session, and as such, you are responsible for letting me know if something isn’t quite right at time of your session.
Copyright and Licensing
Pop Rocket Studios reserves the right to use the negatives and/or reproductions for display, publication, or other purposes related to the promotion and advertising of this company and its photographer (Raeleen Badham Ness). Although I do retain this right, I do also do respect that many of images we create are of a personal nature. For your assurance I will ask you to sign a Release Form that provides your consent to post pictures of you/your child(ren) on this website and to use the images to promote my work. Your pictures will NEVER be sold to a third-party unless otherwise specified and agreed upon in writing.
All images are copyrighted by photographer/artist, Raeleen Badham Ness of Pop Rocket Studios. Images provided are licensed for personal, non-commercial use unless a commercial license is purchased for an additional fee. Images may not be to scanned, copied, or reproduced any manner or medium without written consent from Pop Rocket Studios.
Personal web sized digital images may be used on personal social networking websites such as Facebook, twitter or a personal blog. Images used on such sites may not be cropped, or altered in any manner where Pop Rocket Studios’ watermark/logo are no longer visible, or fully intact. I thank you in advance for respecting my work, and providing credit to it.
Privacy Policy
Pop Rocket Studios is committed to your privacy. Information collected from clients in person, over the phone, in emails, or through this website is strictly confidential. I do not sell or exchange names or any other personally identifiable information about my clients with third parties, and work to ensure your personal information is secure at all times.
